Reopening

Aunque quise no pude separarme de mi quedísimo blog, cada vez que veía en el diario algo que me llamaba mucho la atención no tenía con quien compartirlo. La nota de hoy, la de la guitarra, fue la que definitivamente me hizo el “click”. Así que va a estar re abierto a cosas insólitas o extraordinarias, por lo que no va a haber publicaciones muy frecuentemente, pero prometo seguir anunciándolas por facebook y Twitter cuando las haya.

Una historia de amor con forma de guitarra en las pampas argentinas

En General Levalle, un estanciero argentino plantó aproximadamente 7.000 árboles (cipreses y eucaliptos) dando forma a una enorme guitarra de un kilometro de largo en honor a su difunta esposa, Graciela Yraizoz, quien murió en 1977 a los 25 años.

Pedro Martín Ureta, un productor agropecuario que ahora tiene 70 años, fue un bohemio en su juventud. Viajó a Europa y se codeó con artistas y revolucionarios. Tras volver al país a finales de los años 60, a los 28 años, fue cautivado por Graciela, quien apenas tenía 17 años y soñaba con diseñar la propia finca de la familia en la forma de una guitarra, un instrumento que adoraba. Sin embargo, un día en 1977, se desmayó y sufrió una ruptura de aneurisma cerebral, un debilitamiento en la pared de un vaso sanguíneo que terminó por explotar. Murió poco después, mientras llevaba en el vientre a quien hubiera sido el quinto hijo de la pareja.

Unos años después de la muerte de su Graciela, Ureta decidió cumplir con sus deseos sobre el diseño de la estancia. Como los paisajistas con los que consultó estaban predeciblemente desconcertados, se hizo cargo del trabajo. Las liebres y los cuises destruían las frágiles plantas. "Es una zona semiárida y hay vientos fuertes y sequías", dice el estanciero. "Tuve que sembrar y resembrar y casi abandoné el proyecto".

Cuando los árboles finalmente comenzaron a crecer, María Julia, la hija de 39 años, dice que fue lo más parecido posible a que la madre volviera a vivir.
Ureta nunca ha visto la gran guitarra desde el cielo, excepto en fotos. Teme volar.

Goodbye

Hace casi 1 año que empecé éste blog, lo llamé “Ni Chicha ni Limonada” porque me sentía muy identificada con esa frase, ya que varios aspectos de mi vida estaban inconclusos.

Cuando cumplí 25 años me di cuenta que no existía un tiempo infinito para realizar ciertas cosas, o por lo menos no lo que yo quería realizar en el corto plazo, porque siempre hay tiempo para todo. Miré a mi alrededor… y si bien estaba a 1 materia de recibirme, trabajando y hacía varios años de novia y conviviendo, había muchas cosas que me faltaban.

Por ejemplo, mi noviazgo, que iba viento en popa pero no se hablaba de futuro y él seguía anclado en un comportamiento de novio adolescente. Esa etapa cambió, no sólo porque me voy a casar en unos meses, sino porque él ya es HOY todo un marido que está absolutamente comprometido con la relación. Este es el primer punto del balance, porque es el que me hace más feliz.

El punto más flojo siempre fue el trabajo, desde que empecé a los 19 años nunca me gustó lo que hacía, con varios cambios en el medio, con picos de buenas y malas, siempre lo sentí algo externo a mí. Y era lógico, no sabía quien era, tenía mi vocación relegada y un autoestima por el piso producto de haber estudiado una carrera humanística que no te forma en ningún oficio o saber práctico. Hoy tengo claro que lo que estudié es una herramienta muy útil y que me gusta mucho, pero que mi verdadera vocación es escribir. La buena noticia es que me cambio de trabajo! Después de casi 4 años y medio en el Ministerio esto me resulta revolucionario. Me voy a trabajar para un proyecto gubernamental / internacional en la parte de prensa y comunicación. Voy a poder combinar mis dos vocaciones y además, lo que no es un dato menor, hace ya casi un año que logré una total independencia económica.

Ahora que tengo éstos y otros tantos aspectos de mi vida en orden puedo decirle adiós a “Ni Chicha ni Limonada”, o mejor dicho, hasta siempre. Por ahí debería escribir en algún futuro otro que se llame “Totalmente Chicha” y contarles cómo me va en la experiencia, pero todos los tópicos que me motivaban a escribir ya no existen más, ahora me quiero dedicar a disfrutar de éste año que se viene muy movidito.

Oh my Blog

Hace varios años que entro a éste blog de moda de la revista OHLALÁ, lo empezó una chica que se llamaba Luli Ballestrin que era genial, después ella se fue y decayó un poco pero ahora lo relanzo una fotógrafa que se llama Ani que tiene un buen gusto impecable y es muy creativa. Todas las mañanas lo veo, es un must entre el desayuno y la leída del diario.

Espero que también lo hagan un hábito y que lo disfruten!
